This resource, suitable for learners aged 7-16, looks at what happens during a royal coronation and is supported by a film of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation.

Learners will have the opportunity to consider how people across the UK celebrated the coronation in 1953. This resource is an ideal short activity for young people to discuss the upcoming coronation of King Charles III on the 6 May 2023.
