About this resource

Inside Out 2: Changes and Challenges is our exciting suite of Inside Out 2-inspired activities which support learning outcomes and encourage mental wellbeing through the exploration of emotions and feelings. Our new resource contains bespoke materials for teachers to use in the classroom, including:

A detailed Lesson Plan and Teachers’ Notes

Immersive pupil-facing Lesson PowerPoint Presentation

Wheel of Emotions digital spinner

Beautifully illustrated student activity sheets

Educators can use our interactive tools to explore the characteristics of different emotions with their class and help students build a wider vocabulary to articulate them accurately.

Learners will be encouraged to help Riley through the changes and challenges that she is facing. They will consider how they can use these strategies to support themselves and others when navigating new or difficult emotions like those depicted in the film.

Our new resource is adaptable to the needs of each KS1 or KS2 class. Teachers can use the resource in its entirety or can shorten or extend activities and home learning exercises.
